MantralayaDeparture from Bangalore 28-Oct-07 by Udhyan Express at 8:10PM.
Arrival to Mantralaya Road around, 5:00 AM towards Mantralaya Temple. Venkateshware Lodge - room near the temple.
Clear Saturday Morning, we were welcomed by the Fair like environment by shops on either side with offerings to be made at the temple (like coconuts, flowers…) & other things like (Mala’s, Pooja Utensils, Photo frames of Raghavendra swamy), etc…..
* Visit to Manchalamma Temple just at the entrance to the temple, offered coconuts.
* Visit to the Raghavendra Swamy Temple – Took the Panchamrutha Seva (Rs 50), before the entry to temple, they made us sit in the complex beside where they have a silver idol of Raghavendra Swamy where “Suvarna Kanakabishekam” and others were being performed. Pooja started with sprinkling of holy water on all the devotes assembled in the hall & then followed by the sankalpa for archana from all he devotees. Panchamruta prasadams were provided, also bought the Parimala Prasadams at the temple.
Had a breakfast soon after the visit to Raghavendra Swamy Temple, it was around 10:00 AM by then and it was time to really break the day’s fast.
Visit to Panchamuki Anjaneya Swamy Temple – Around 10:30 AM took an auto towards anjaneya temple around 60 kms which is in adjoining Raichur District Karnataka, after crossing the Tunga Bhadra River, although the roads were not so good. This Panchamuki Cave Temple has the Siginficance that when Swami Raghavendra was meditating here, Panchamuki Anjaneya swami had given darshan.
Coming back towards Mantralaya by 2:00PM, had the prasadam in the Bhojana Shala.
Moved toward Mantralayam Railway station by 4:00PM.
